The Power in Trusting Oneself

When we do not trust ourselves and hope for a good outcome in situations and our interactions with others, we come from a place of powerlessness and often these situations and interactions do not go well. But when we trust ourselves, we are aligned to our power and there is a positive response from the situations and interactions we are involved in. Yoga is a way of learning to listen to, and trust the self. Through yoga we can find our centre – that still space that is the seat of our power. Through yoga we develop confidence, from the latin, confidere – ‘to have full trust’, in the self.
